  • Can be used to
    • manipulate imaginary 
    • combine layers of video & images into same scene
  • Works by
    • manipulating vector
    • rasterised art to create and tell a story
  • Compositing layers in Photoshop
    • Arrange and rename all the layers
    • easy to animate in after effects
  • Compositing layer in After Effects
    • elements in all layer need to be organised and synchronised to the external software
    • After Effects file does not embed it media, it links to it
